About Me

A Humanistic Psychotherapist

Hello! I'm Sandra,

My work revolves around how learned behavioural patterns and early life experiences influence our sense of self and the way we experience life today.

You may be feeling stuck, anxious, or depressed, and not know how to move forwards. I firmly believe that self-exploration in counselling and the awareness it brings are the cornerstones for making meaningful change in our lives.

It certainly worked for me!

Life Experience and Perspective

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 20 years navigating the corporate world. Balancing the pressures of a demanding career alongside raising a family has given me an invaluable perspective on the challenges many face in juggling personal and professional life. This first-hand experience enables me to deeply understand the complexities clients often bring into the therapeutic space.

Professional Journey

My introduction to psychotherapy began in 2008 at Spectrum, where I initially focused on personal development. Inspired by the transformative potential of this work, I embarked on comprehensive professional training, which I completed in 2011.

I also regularly engaging in trainings and workshops to enhance my practice and stay attuned to the evolving field of psychotherapy.

Credentials and Ongoing Development

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), ensuring adherence to the highest standards of practice and ethics.

I am in continuous professional development.
